Our mission
Make it easier for good people to lead.
Local government shapes daily life. Schools, roads, budgets, safety, the character of a town. Yet the people who run for these offices tend to come from a narrow group: those who already know how the machine works. Everyone else watches from the sidelines, even when they have the most to offer.
Civic Grove exists to widen that group. We lower the barrier for good, inexperienced people to move from the sidelines into running for local office, or into the roles that make a campaign work. We start with local races and build toward state and city offices over time.
Why a grove
A grove is a network, not a single tree.
Civic means democracy, participation, and public service. Grove means growth, roots, and systems that hold together. A grove is interconnected and durable. That is what we are building: civic infrastructure that outlasts any one election cycle.
We grow leaders, put down deep roots in local communities, and plant ideas that last. We choose long-term culture building over short-term outrage.

Our nonpartisan stance
Civic skills belong to everyone.
Civic Grove is nonpartisan. We teach people how to campaign, organize, and lead, and those skills belong to every community and every point of view. We do not endorse candidates by party. We make democracy more open by helping more people take part in it.
Stronger local democracy is not a partisan goal. It is a shared one. When more grounded people run and serve, every community benefits.
